Historic Ceramic Vessels: Make a Rhyton

Each month, we revisit a historic ceramic form and learn how to craft that vessel. This month, students will hand build ancient Grecian drinking vessels known as rhytons and will utilize animal and/or human forms. We will work with slabs, coils, and pinched pots. Students will also paint and decorate their creations, and work will be fired to food safe specs. Please come prepared with ideas and sketches. All levels are welcome in this class!
