SUMMARY:Hand Building Night Class
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nWork in clay using your own hands as tools! In this 8 week class you will learn the basics of hand-building techniques such as pinching\, coiling\, and slab. Explore both functional forms and sculptural ideas while developing the necessary skills to complete your artwork. Students will have the opportunity to work with both cone 6 oxidation glazes and cone 10 reduction glazes\, stains\, and underglazes to bring their ideas to life. \nIncluded in the eight week class:\n25 lbs of clay\nOpen studio during operating hours\nStudio cone 6 and cone 10 glazes\nFiring of work in one of the studio’s three kilns \nDate: Wednesday: May 13\, 20\, 27 June3\, 10\, 17\,24 July 1\nInstructor: Jean Benoit\nLevel: Ages 18 and up \nRefunds less credit card fee  are available up to 7 days before the class begins. After that period\, the fee is non-refundable. However\, you may transfer your ticket to a friend.
