SUMMARY:Chickens with Attitude Family Class
DESCRIPTION:Join ceramicist Tena Tucker for a 2 hour “Chickens with Attitude” family clay class. We will be using multiple skills during our workshop. Hand building skills using pattern\, textures\, sculpting and painting to complete our chickens. After our chickens are painted and completely dry they will be bisques fired and then glazed with clear glaze and fired again. All supplies are included.  Students of all skill levels are welcome to join. \nTime: 1pm-3pm\nInstructor: Tena Tucker\nLevel: Age 10 and up parent or guardian with children under 16 must also register for class. \nAbout Tena Tucker:\nNative born Biloxi. Retired Disney special effects make up artist\, trainer\, coordinator for the hair and makeup department in Florida . teaching skills in wig making\, make-up\, airbrushing and prosthetics. After moving back to the coast I dove into ceramics at Biloxi Center for Ceramics on the lovely campus grounds of the Ohr O’Keefe Museum of Art. I enjoy sharing my skills with all ages. \nRefunds less credit card fees are available up to 7 days before the class begins. After that period\, the fee is non-refundable. SUMMARY:Family Puffer Fish
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a family night pottery workshop on the Ohr O’Keefe Museum campus to create a ceramic puffer fish. Bring your kids (age 10+) tweens & teens. Participants will use pinch pots and clay additions to create a ceramic puffer fish. Paint/decorate with under-glazes.\nOnce the fish are completely dry we will bisque fire\, then clear glaze and fire your fish sculpture.
