Whether you choose to create something realistic or more abstract\, this workshop encourages you to follow your instincts and let the piece become a reflection of what you’re feeling. \nAt the end\, you will get to choose the glaze color! (Cone 6 = 2 week turnaround/Cone 10 = 8 weeks turnaround) \nThis class is open to all experience levels. Raku is an exhilarating and unique process where pots are taken out of the kiln while red hot and put in a combustible material to make colorful and iridescent effects. Students must wear closed toe shoes and clothes you aren’t afraid to get dirty! DESCRIPTION:In this two-hour class\, you’ll learn to make delicate (but durable) heirloom-worthy porcelain earrings and pendants. We’ll use a variety of shapes\, textures\, and pigments to create and decorate each unique piece. No prior experience with clay necessary.
