DESCRIPTION:Celebrate American Heritage with Pine Needle Basketry\nIn this 3 hour class\, you’ll learn to make a beautiful and unique 3” to 5” basket with longleaf pine needles and waxed sinew.  No prior experience is necessary\, only patience and pine needles are the main ingredients for this natural and versatile basket. What better way to keep tuned to Mother Nature than to gather fragrant pine needles from her forest floor and sew them into baskets of natural beauty. DESCRIPTION:In this 6-week beginner to intermediate level watercolor class\, students will learn a variety of techniques to improve their painting skills\, including masking\, blending\, and layering. Students will work from both still life and personal photographs as they learn about selecting references and approaching composition in their work. Only an 8” x 10” sketchbook is required\, all other materials are included with the cost of the class.
