Celebrate the work of Jerrod Partridge at a special Artist-in-Residence Reception on May 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art Welcome Center
Over the course of his March–June residency, Partridge has created a compelling body of work inspired by the museum’s architecture, ceramics, and surrounding coastal environment. This reception marks a key moment in his evolving, progressive exhibition—offering guests the opportunity to experience these paintings as they come together in the lower gallery.
A representational painter with training from the New York Academy of Art, Partridge blends academic technique with a distinct sensitivity to color rooted in the Mississippi Delta. As the first non-ceramic artist to hold this residency, his work brings a fresh perspective to the museum’s creative legacy.
Join us for an evening of art, conversation, and community. Meet the artist, explore the exhibition, and experience the energy of work created in direct dialogue with this extraordinary place.
