Clothes Story

Beau Rivage Resort & Casino
African American Gallery of Art

For centuries, women have exuded their personalities through their style of dress. Clothes Story represents the power of women through their style and presence. Highlighting clothing women wore from the years 1890 to 1963, the narratives shared in this exhibition will take you on a journey through time with compelling depictions of women’s lives in their homes and communities and feature historical moments through an engaging fashion experience. Clothes Story is an exhibition experience that celebrates women and acknowledges stories that showcase their resilience, strength, bravery, courage, and unapologetic spirit of change.

Kenneth Green, Theatrical & Cultural Event Designer
