Craig Damrauer and Sally Heller
Maybe This Time it Won’t Matter?
Craig Damrauer is a writer and conceptual artist. He is interested in the systems that engender the ways we’re spoken to, the ways we talk to each other, the roles we’re given or play, and our relationship with nature. Damrauer and Heller met in 2011 when they had studios a few doors away from each other. He now lives and works in Denver, CO and Heller in New Orleans,LA as a result, this collaboration was created over text, email and video. This 20 minute single channel video work, Maybe This Time it Won’t Matter? started with a few questions the artists asked each other which evolved into shapes and feelings and movement.
