Najee Dorsey

Seen and Told: Alternative Narratives

Beau Rivage Resort &Casino African American Gallery of Art

Najee Dorsey is a visual artist who grew up in the Mississippi Delta and currently resides in Columbus, Georgia. Dorsey works with a range of mixed media from photo collage to ceramics, telling the complex stories of African-American life and experience in the South. His works can be found in various public and private collections throughout the US. In 2010, Dorsey created the organization Black Art in America (www.blackartinamerica.com) the leading global social network and resource for African-American visual arts.
