Randy Brodnax

We are happy to announce that Randy Brodnax will be the artist in residence at the OOMA Studio this spring. Randy Brodnax is from Louisiana and is one of the best-known potters in Texas, he specializes in Raku using natural imagery and drawing upon a fantasy world of creatures of the mind. Randy is a very inventive and intuitive teacher. While developing his work, he also will be preparing for a three-day alternative firing workshop, FIRE UNDER THE OAKS, which will be May 19th – 21. Fellow alternative firing master, Don Ellis will join him for the three-day event, a treat for the museum and the Gulf Coast community!
